Babushka Bunnies are Here! And a Giveaway!

The Babushka Bunny sewing kits I've been chatting about are finally all ready and up in the shop. I'm so pleased with the detail on them, all my little seed pod patterns have come out a treat! The fabric in these kits was printed by the good folks at Spoonflower, who have done a great job.

These kits would be so great for someone who is learning to sew and starting to gain confidence. I think they would be a fun "mum and me" project for older kids. Also, these rabbits don't have to be filled with just toy stuffing. I think they would be lovely filled with dried herbs, like lavender or rosemary, then these cute colourful rabbits could pop out of your sock drawer to brighten your morning (and make your socks smell delicious!)

I'm giving away two of these kits to you guys out there, all you lovely blog readers and writers who make me smile everyday. As a thank you, one kit will go to someone who commented on my nervous post. If you'd like to win the other Babushka Bunny kit, just leave a comment right here on this post. (If you commented on the first post, you can still comment here too, y'know). Include a mention of your favourite colour kit in your comment, there's four to choose from: orange, yellow, blue and green. You can see more pictures of each colour in my shop.

I'm going away until 20 August, visiting family and drinking lots of tea. I'll do a random drawing of the two winners when I get back. See you soon!

The kits are such a great idea. I've been wanting to do some screened ones, but this is so much more do-able. Great job.

These came out really great! I love the blue but, really, how could you choose just one, I think I'll have to get one of each from your shop! I really like your idea of using them as a sachet too.

Is it strange that I'm excited for you for your Farmer's Markets? I live vicariously.

They look great! They remind me of clothkits in the 70s- and it's good to see how the spoonflower process has worked out for you. I couldn't pick a colour- i'll let you pick for me if I won.
